Links rijden is niet alleen tegennatuurlijk, gevaarlijk en onhandig, maar het past bovendien totaal niet in de taligheid van het vertoog waarin we ons bevinden! Als voorbeeld de volgende dialoog:
Sasha: "I was pulled over by the police today. I was cycling on the wrong side of the road."
Erik: "The right side..."
Sasha: "No, the wrong side."
Erik: "Right, the right side."
Sasha: "?"
Erik: "Never mind..."
Links in het Latijn is niet voor niets sinister!

Reminds me of that fateful conversation in "Clockwise", taking place on a roundabout between the Principal(John Cleese)and a female pupil of his who is driving.Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it here.
